LD Long Description	"Why does not the standard pneumatic cylinder suit in agricultural sorting machines?Vegetable Sorting machines require very high operating speeds and frequencies. In few seconds during the fall, a reject system selects compliant products, separate them from unusable ones, or second choice products, through a sorting mechanism activeted by high speed pneumatic cylinders. One of the key components of this type of Sorting Machine is certainly the pneumatic cylinder that drives the mechanism. Operating 24/7, in a high corrosive environment makes it really difficult to design a cylinder, that is reliable for long periods of time and is resistant to corrosion too.The standard cylinder is not enough reliable, because it cannot achive over 20 complete cycles of operation per second, while a custom cylinder can.The custom cylinder, we designed, was able to work for a long time and it occupied an extremely small space behind the sorting mechanism used to discard non-compliant vegetables. This custom cylinder is a unique and non-copyable product, capable of making these machines a real technological masterpiece at the limits of pneumatics. The ability to work and collaborate in such technological challenges has allowed Cy.Pag. to build strong Partnership over time, which have lasted for over 25 years of experience in the niche and more than 5,000 special projects carried out. Only a customized pneumatic cylinder can guarantee such competitive advantage to other machines in the Food (Agriculture) sector too: the Sorting Bench, the optical sorting machine and the sensor sorting machine, the foreign object sorting belt.Since 1998 to January 2021 we have produced almost 270,000 special cylinders for this application.
